Pre & Post Arrival Tips

Preparing for a Retreat to Grail Springs

Things to Bring & Know

  1. Fill in your form before arrival which help us to optimize your retreat.
  2. Book your choice spa therapies at least 48 hours in advance of arrival.
  3. Bring personal yoga mat, loose comfortable clothing, running shoes, layered clothing for cooler months.
  4. Bring a bathing suit if planning on swimming or using the outdoor Hot & Cold Water Immersion therapy.
  5. Good walking shoes or boots depending on season.
  6. A journal, sketchbook, good book.
  7. Slippers provided, however some guests prefer to bring their own.
  8. Read and follow Grail Springs Peace Intention and respect privacy and peace of other guests.
  9. Photo-taking is permitted with respect for other guests.
  10. Public areas are work free zones – please take cell phone calls in the privacy of your suite only.

Tips on Doing A Cleanse

Reduce the following 8 things from your diet a few days prior to arrival:

  1. Animal meat
  2. Soda pop
  3. White sugar
  4. White flour products
  5. Caffeine/coffee
  6. Alcohol
  7. Dairy
  8. Artificial or processed foods

Increase the following 9 things into your diet a prior to arrival:

  1. Drink water with lemon juice
  2. Herbal teas
  3. Dark green vegetables
  4. Fruit each morning
  5. Homemade vegetable juices
  6. Barley, oatmeal, chick peas, avocado
  7. Quinoa, bulgar, lentils, brown rice
  8. Pumpkin oil, walnut oil, sesame seed oil, hemp see oil, coconut oil
  9. Hemp, cashew, oat or almond milk

Bringing the Grail Home

Things to maintain post retreat

  • Take a daily walk, breathe in deeply, and get ready for a life changing event!
  • Adopt a plant-based diet
  • Drink a colon cleansing tea monthly
  • Weekly detox bath: himalayan salt, epsom salt, sea salt, or dead sea salt
  • Weekly energy healing therapy; Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage
  • Take in fresh air and lots of sunshine
  • Steam saunas, dry saunas, FAR infrared saunas
  • Yoga, deep breathing, nature walks
  • Sleep, naps, meditation and more naps
  • Stay positive and optimistic and you’ll see and feel a change for the better
