Benefits of Daily Skin Brushing

Salt scrubs or dry brushes are excellent ways to wake up the body and prepare your skin to eliminate toxins with ease which is one of its most important functions. It is important to brush off dead skin cells so toxins can pass. While you are dry brushing the skin you are also providing a gentle massage to the organs.

3 minute daily practice

Purchase a simple dry brush, with soft natural bristles or a loofa. You can even use a rolled up face cloth if you can’t find a brush. Stand in the shower or tub with the water off. Beginning with your feet, start to rub your skin in circular motions using firm but gentle pressure. Always work towards the direction of the heart. Avoid irritated skin and face. This whole process should only take you three minutes.
